Seal Pots
Seal pots, or condensate pots, produce a liquid seal to form between the instrument and flowing gases. The central purpose of a sealed pot is to keep the levels of the liquids constant. Seal pots are utilized for both high-density and corrosive material to aid in the protection of the pressure measuring instrument. Our dedicated seal pot technicians act as an extension of your team looking out for your best interest. Refractories for Seal Pots
Rescocast RS-17EM with XPR has been tested and compared to other "shock resistant - low expansion" fused silica type products in laboratory tests that duplicated the severe conditions these linings are exposed to in the field.
Rescocast RS-17EM with XPR not only showed less deterioration than the "shock resistant" products but maintained significantly higher strengths after repeated cycling. The results of these tests are available upon request.
