Power Plants

Resco Products manufactures high-quality refractories for the power industry. With more regulations from the EPA, it is even more pressing to install the correct refractory products. Resco provides both plastic refractory (high-duty fireclay, super-duty fireclay, 60% alumina, 70% alumina, and 80% alumina) and castable refractory (alumina-silica or insulating).

Power plants are under constant strain from high temperature, velocity, and abrasion. Resco Products will assist in evaluating, developing, and creating schematics and solutions for your refractory needs. Ensuring your power plant’s refractories are properly constructed and maintained creates increased revenue through continuous production and reduced downtimes. Potential adverse conditions may include abrasion, thermal shock, heat transfer, chemicals, and corrosion.

Adacor 80 Dip

ADACOR 80 is a wet ready-mixed high alumina based bonding mortar available in either trowel or dipping consistencies. ADACOR 80 is recommended for laying up super duty, high alumina, and mullite brick. It has a high alumina content which gives the product resistance to erosion and also a high bonding strength at temperatures up to 3200°F.

EZ Cast 2800

EZ CAST® 2800 is similar to EZ CAST® 2700, except designed for applications up to 2800°F. In the laboratory, this product has tested well for resistance to CO (carbon monoxide) disintegration encountered in coke ovens and blast furnaces.
