RESCOCAST 17AG is a high temperature, high purity alumina conventional gunning mix with only trace amounts of silica and iron oxide. The high purity of this gunning mix makes it an ideal choice for reducing atmospheres containing hydrogen and/or carbon monoxide. This product should be installed using conventional gunning methods. Data shown below are average results of tests following the guidelines set forth in ASTM C-903 "Preparing Refractory Concrete Specimens by Cold Gunning".
